Ross Levinsohn has shown his passion for the media technology industry and his strong work ethic throughout his career. In fact, these traits initially helped to drive him through college at American University. He majored in Communications and graduated in 1985. After spending time demonstrating his knowledge and growing as a professional in lower-level positions, he joined HBO as its Director of Production and Marketing in 1990. His professional experience broadened when his career took him to Alta Vista to serve as General Manager. Fox Interactive Media then asked him to run the company as its president. While working in this capacity, he directly impacted the company’s web properties. These included IGN, Fox.com, FoxSports.com, FoxNew.com and more.
In addition to working in these signification positions at leading tech media companies, Ross Levinsohn also worked for Thryv, Yahoo!, Guggenheim Digital Media, Whisper Advisors, Tribune Publishing, The Boston Consulting Group and others. Through these roles, he was affiliated with well-known brands like Dick Clark Productions, the Film Expo Group, AdWeek, the Hollywood Reporter, the Baltimore Sun, the New York Daily News, the Los Angeles Times, the Chicago Tribune, the Clio Awards and others.
