Sudhir Choudhrie was born in 1949 in Delhi, India. His father passed on at a very young age leaving him with his mother, who had to feed the family. Despite being the family’s breadwinner, his mother was an excellent role model and caregiver. When he was only eight years, Sudhir and his mother visited a doctor for a full body medical check-0up when it was discovered he had a leaking valve in his heart. The heart condition was threatening his life, as the medical experts told them his heart could stop anytime. However, the report from the doctors did not stop Mr. Choudhrie from pursuing his life ambitions. He went through, and after his High School graduation, he got an opportunity to join Delhi University. Sudhir graduated with a degree in Economics, and he later worked at his grandfather’s real estate company before establishing his own business.

Sudhir Choudhrie created Magnum Trading Company Ltd in 1975 majored in India’s emerging export market. Sudhir later changed investment, and he got involved in the hotel industry with Taj Hotels, Resorts, and later Adidas AG in 1995.
