Mr. Randal Nardone is among one of three principals who runs the day-to-day daily operations of the Fortress Investment Group, a firm he helped co-found in the year of 1998. Mr. Nardone has been a principal at Fortress since 1998. Mr. Randal Nardone has also been serving as the Fortress Investment Group’s Chief Executive Officer, a position he has held since 2013. Prior to that, he served as interim Chief Executive Officer from December 21, 2011, to August 01, 2013, at the Fortress Investment Group, a globally renowned alternative asset manager which was once a publicly owned and traded company whose shares were traded under the stock ticker symbol “FIG” prior to its acquisition by the Japan based banking group SoftBank Group in December of 2017.

In addition to co-founding the Fortress Investment Group, Mr. Randal Nardone has co-founded a number of funds and trusts for the global alternative asset manager. Mr. Nardone co-founded the Fortress Investment Fund IV and V and serves as these funds Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Principal. Mr. Randal Nardone co-founded the Fortress Registered Investment Trust and serves as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Principal, Vice President, and Secretary. Mr. Randal Nardone academic attainments as a student includes attending the University of Connecticut and graduating from the university with a bachelor’s degree in the subjects of Biology and English from and attending the Boston University School of Law and graduating from the law school with a Juris Doctorate degree. To date, Mr. Nardone does not have a spot-on Forbes Billionaire List. However, in 2007 he held the spot numbered 557 when his Fortress Investment Group when public with their Initial Public Offering. This move instantly transformed Mr. Nardone into a billion as his 53 million shares in Fortress were worth $1.6 billion.
